Kathmandu, June 8: Nepalese climber Nima Rinji Sherpa has set a record by becoming the youngest person in the world to climb Kangchenjunga at the age of 18 this morning.

He alongside a team of eight climbers, including the Sherpas, reached the top of the world’s third highest mountain at 8586 metres, at 9:30 am, confirmed Tashi Lakpa Sherpa, Managing Director of Seven Summit Treks (SST), a leading Nepal-based expedition operator.
