Kathmandu, Aug 8: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation said it has initiated efforts from today onward for immediate, mid-term and long-term reforms keeping aviation safety in the high priority.
Issuing a statement on Wednesday evening, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey expressed the commitment to lay focus on the matter of aviation safety for a week by adjourning all pre-set programmes except the most urgent ones.
He also mentioned that the ministry and its subordinate agencies would be mobilized for taking necessary initiatives to that end.
