Kathmandu, Aug 20: U.S. Embassy Youth Council (USYC) Nepal 2024 is all set to launch the Civic Engagement Projects (CEPs), bringing innovative solutions to some of Nepal’s most pressing challenges.
This 2024 cohort has crafted five impactful group projects focusing on educating the next generation on the electoral process, enhancing healthcare for LGBTQIA+ communities, championing digital literacy for teachers from rural Nepal, and fostering a culture of accountability and informed civic participation, empowering the young people in Nepal to combat misinformation, and creating inclusive educational spaces for students with physical disabilities, according to the US Embassy.
