Gandaki, Oct. 21: The impact of westerly and local winds in the country remains active. This has resulted in partly to generally cloudy in Lumbini Province and the hilly regions of the country and the weather in the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to mainly fair, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places in Lumbini Province and hilly regions of the country, it said.
Furthermore, the Department said that there are chances of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous region of the country are likely.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country. Light rain or thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places in the hilly region of the country.
