Myagdi : The base camp of Annapurna-I has received the record-breaking number of tourists.
The huge number of domestic tourists visited the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at Narchyang in Annapurna Rural Municipality-4 in Myagdi district during the festive period.

A campaigner of the trekking route there, Ten Gurung, said that some 3,000 visitors arrived here so far since the beginning of Dashain vacation.

According to Gurung, a large number domestic as well as the foreign tourists have reached the base camp. He said that almost 300 domestic and international tourists are residing there in the base camp since Wednesday.

The members of the expedition team ascend the Annapurna-I of 8,091 meters tall peak from the North Base Camp.

Eye-catching Panchakunda lake, waterfalls and the sites with full of biodiversity are the key attractions of this trail.

The rural municipality has also developed a tourism master plan for the development of the Annapurna Base Camp.

Based on the same master plan, the rural municipality has allocated some budget for developing infrastructure and to ensure better services for the visitors.
