Kathmandu— To mark International Education Week (IEW), the U.S. Embassy, in partnership with the USEF-Nepal EducationUSA Advising Center, hosted a dynamic U.S. College/University Alumni Meet and Greet. The event aimed to connect prospective students with alumni from U.S. institutions, offering an afternoon filled with learning, inspiration, and meaningful dialogue.
Over 10 alumni from prestigious U.S. colleges and universities participated, sharing their unique journeys as international students. The event also featured Cultural Affairs Officer Erica Alexander and other U.S. Embassy representatives, who offered insights into the opportunities and challenges of pursuing education in the United States.
The interactive session allowed students to ask candid questions, gaining valuable perspectives on adapting to U.S. campus life, leveraging academic opportunities, and navigating cultural transitions. Alumni also shared how their U.S. education played a pivotal role in shaping their personal and professional paths.
