Damauli, Dec 27: Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, has said leader Amar Raj Kaini played a significant role in Nepal’s democratic movement.
A resident of Byas municipality-2 in Tanahu district, Kaini is the former minister of state.
Releasing a book authored by Kaini, ‘Afnai Bigat Niyalda: Prajatantrako Saundarya Ra Abismrit Bimbaharu’ (Reflecting Own Past: Aesthetics of Democracy and Unforgettable Images) here Friday, Minister Paudel viewed Kaini’s struggle for democracy and consolidation of organization bears much significance.
“Kaini’s contribution is important both for the Nepali Congress party and the country,” he underlined, adding that the book by leader Kaini also functions as a major source of knowledge on Nepal’s democratic movement.
Also addressing the event were leaders Jit Prakash Ale and Baikuntha Neupane.
