Kathmandu, Jan 31: The Westerly wind has its influence in the country at present and the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi and fair in the rest of the country today.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said foggy condition prevails in many places of Tarai at present. The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi province and fair in the rest of the country this afternoon.
Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi and Karnali provinces and fair in the rest of the country tonight.
The Department stated that fog is likely to occur in many places of the Tarai on Friday morning, and has urged all concerned to remain alert as it may affect daily life, agriculture, health, transport and aviation.
