New York, USA – In recognition of his exceptional leadership and strategic expertise in media management, Manoj Basnet, General Manager of Annapurna Media Network, has been honored by New York State Assembly Member David I. Weprin.
The prestigious recognition was conferred upon Basnet on the recommendation of Triveni Times, a media house based in New York, during a special event marking International Women’s Day. Weprin presented him with a formal certificate of honor, acknowledging his outstanding contributions to Nepal’s media industry.
“For over 15 years, Mr. Basnet’s visionary leadership and exceptional management skills have propelled Annapurna Media Network to the forefront of Nepal’s media landscape. His contributions in shaping it into a premier media institution are truly commendable,” the certificate issued by Weprin stated.
Additionally, Weprin lauded Annapurna Media Network as Nepal’s most influential, credible, and widely respected media house, acknowledging its role in setting new benchmarks in journalism.
Elected as a New York State Assembly Member in 2010, Weprin has consistently won re-election and currently chairs the New York State Insurance Committee. He also serves on key legislative bodies, including the Banking Committee, Judiciary Committee, and the Asian Pacific American Task Force, playing an instrumental role in shaping policies at the state level.
