KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has issued an order to register the writ petition filed against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Even after the court has decided not to register the writ application, the Supreme Court has ordered its administration to register the writ application.

Speaking at the program organized on the occasion of Maghi at Tudhikhel on January 2020, the PM said, he would take responsibility for only 5,000 people of people who were killed in the conflict.

Advocates Gyanendraraj Aran, Kalyan Budhathoki, and others had filed a writ in the Supreme Court seeking orders to investigate and take action against Dahal on the same issue. Earlier, the court didn’t register the writ saying that the application could not be registered due to its political nature.

Judges Ishwar Prasad Khativada and Hari Phuyal issued the verdict to register the application. Advocates duo have planned to register the application on Sunday.

Similarly, in another application, those who have been displaced, injured, and deprived of their property due to the conflict, have demanded action against those involved and arrangements for their sustenance.
