Kathmandu – The U.S. Embassy Youth Council (USYC) Nepal continues to empower young leaders to drive positive change in their communities, fostering long-term stability and prosperity for Nepal.
This week, USYC members pitched their new Impact and Engagement Project (IEP) ideas, building on the achievements of previous cohorts. The projects aim to deliver greater, measurable impact across Nepal, reflecting the council’s mission to encourage innovation, leadership, and social engagement among Nepali youth.
The proposed initiatives range from creating entrepreneurial opportunities and expanding digital literacy to leveraging artificial intelligence for social good. These forward-looking solutions highlight the determination of young Nepali leaders to strengthen community resilience and contribute to national progress.
Speaking at the event, organizers emphasized that a stronger, more prosperous Nepal means greater economic opportunities for its people and shared growth for both Nepal and the United States.
The U.S. Embassy extended appreciation to the panel of judges who evaluated the project pitches and expressed confidence in the ability of USYC members to make a meaningful difference in their communities.
