Kathmandu, Sept 1: The National Assembly (NA) is holding its meeting today. The meeting is taking place at 3:15 pm in the Federal Parliament Building, Naya Baneshwor.
In today’s meeting, the NA Chairperson is scheduled to inform the National Assembly about a letter received from the Office of the President on the portfolio divisions of the Council of Ministers.
Likewise, Chair of the Legislation Management Committee Tulasa Kumari Dahal is scheduled to present the Committee’s report on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080.
Furthermore, NA Secretary Dr Surendra Aryal would table the Bill to amend certain Nepal Acts relating to Land, 2082 along with the message received from the House of Representatives (HoR).
Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel would present the Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2081 seeking a consideration from the NA along with the message received from the HoR.
Meanwhile, two parliamentary committees are holding their meetings today. The meetings of the Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee, and Legislation Management Committee are taking place.
