Kathmandu, Sept 13: The United Kingdom has termed the appointment of Sushila Karki as the Interim Prime Minister of Nepal following the events of last week as an important step.
Taking to the social site, Facebook, the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Nepal said this shortly after the former Chief Justice Sushila Karki assumed the responsibility of the Interim Prime Minister on Friday.
As the oldest friend, the UK will recognize the challenges ahead and affirm its commitment to support Nepali aspirations for the accountable and inclusive governance, it is noted in the message.
