Kathmandu, Sept 19: Moderate rainfall is likely to take place in some areas of the hilly regions of the country, including Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as a few places in the remaining areas.
In one or two locations in the hilly and Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall.
Tonight the weather will generally be cloudy in the hilly regions of the country, including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces while there will be partial cloud cover in the remaining Terai regions.
There is a chance of moderate rainfall in a few areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as one or two places in the remaining areas.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has urged one and all to adopt safety precautions and preparedness, citing the risk of landslides and debris flows (debris flow) due to rain.
