KATHMANDU: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited has organized a staff fundraising program “Home Run 2023” for its sustainability initiative “Futuremakers by Standard Chartered”.
Around 200 staff participated by walking, running, and cycling across a ~11km route covering the bank’s branches in Naxal, Newroad, and Naya Baneshwor.
Futuremakers by Standard Chartered is the bank’s global initiative to tackle inequality and promote greater economic inclusion for young people in our communities.
The funds raised through the event will be used for Futuremakers-related CSR projects in Nepal.
While inaugurating the event, CEO Anirvan Ghosh Dastidar expressed his gratitude to the staff members for coming together for this noble cause which would help empower the next generation to learn, earn and grow. “At Standard Chartered, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to realize their potential.
