Kathmandu, April 21: An international parkour athlete and multiple Guinness World Records holder Dr Dinesh Sunar (PhD, Sports Science – Honorary) has been honored with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by Thomas R. Suozzi, representing New York’s Third Congressional District.
This recognition is tied to the authority of the United States Congress, giving it official and institutional significance. Such certificates are awarded by US lawmakers to honour individuals or organizations for meaningful achievements, community service and positive societal impact.
