The Luca Soccer Club of Kerala, India has defeated defending champion, APF Club of the Armed Police Force, to reach the final in the seventh edition of Birat Gold Cup Football tournament.
In a semi-final game held at Biratnagar-based Martyr Stadium last night, Luca Soccer got into the final beating APF 4-2 in tie-breaker.
Luca Soccer’s goalkeeper Mohammad Sarfir was declared the man of the match. He received a cash prize of Rs 11,000. As per the schedule, Luca would take on Biratnagar City in the final on March 30. –
