KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal increased on Tuesday with a tola of fine gold costing Rs 109,000, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The Association said standard gold is traded at Rs 108,500 per tola — Rs 500 less than fine gold.
The price of silver, meanwhile, is fixed at Rs 1,400 per tola today.
The precious yellow metal cost Rs 108,000 per tola and standard gold Rs 107,500 per tola on Monday.
The Federation updates the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market on a daily basis on the basis of the price rates in the international market.
