KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index, which measures share trading in the securities market, has decreased by double digits today.
According to Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, the NEPSE index declined by 23.64 points. With today’s decline, the index has reached 1,988.04.
Similarly, the sensitive index, which measures the share turnover of large companies, also decreased by 4.78 points and was limited to 362.96. A total of 13 sub-groups that have been traded today have faced a decline in their share prices.
In today’s transaction, a total of 3. 1 million shares were bought and sold at the price of Rs 920.75 million. Among the traded companies, the share prices of 23 companies increased while the share prices of 188 companies decreased.
In terms of turnover, Arun Valley Hydropower is at the top. According to NEPSE, the share price of Adarsh Microfinance has increased by 10 percent in the declining market and hit a positive circuit. Likewise, the share price of Kalinchok Darshan increased by 9.98 million, Mailung Hydropower Company by 9.96 million, Civil Bank’s bond by 6.10 million, and Samling Power’s share price increased by 4.99 percent.
The share price of Sunrise Blue Chip Fund has decreased by 6.25%, NIC Asia Fund by 5.14%, Unnati Sanghar Microfinance by 4.34%, Upakar Microfinance by 4.21%, and Kalika Microfinby 4.10%.
