Kathmandu, Feb 1: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Nepal Police has arrested businessperson Arun Chaudhary and Ajit Narayan Singh Thapa, then executive chief of the Bansbari Leather and Shoe Factory on charges of illegally seizing the land belonging to the Factory.
The arrest was made today afternoon. The duo has been accused of involvement in the process to register the public land (10 ropanis) in their name since 2042 BS, said the police.
Investigations into the seize of the land are ongoing, said the CIB.
