Kathmandu, Feb 5: The Literary Journalists Association has honoured three contemporary poets – Shrawan Mukarung, Krishu Chhetri and Gita Karki.
Former Chancellor of Nepal Academy and senior poet Bairagi Kainla, handed the Vyathit Literary Honour for the Year 2075 BS to Mukarung, for the year 2077 BS to Chhetri and for the year 2079 BS to Karki amidst a programme organised here today.
On the occasion, senior poet Kainla, Association president Radheshyam Lekali and honoured poets had put their views.
Senior literary critic Prof Dr Laxman Prasad Gautam had introduced the honoured poets. Association president Lekali presided over the programme.
