Kathmandu, Feb 23: As Kathmandu prepares for the US-Nepal Hip-Hop Concert tomorrow, the U.S. Embassy organised a talk programme featuring the renowned American DJ Walshy Fire. The collaborative efforts between the U.S. Embassy and Lord of the Drinks (LOD), a popular nightclub based in Kathmandu took place last Tuesday.
Hosted by Public Affairs Chief, the U.S. Embassy, Garrett Wilkerson, the hour-long session brought together young and aspiring Nepali musicians and creatives.
On the occasion, Walshy Fire shared valuable insights about his journey as a DJ and music producer, emphasising the importance of passion, perseverance, and authenticity in the music industry.
Mentioning his own experiences, he encouraged Nepali artists to embrace their unique sound and cultural heritage, and most importantly, to never give up on their love for music.
