KATHMANDU: As Korala point at the Nepal-China border has not been opened, Nepalese businesspersons are unable to import the Himalayan Goats from Tibet.
Traders are not able to bring Himalayan Goats for Dashain festival due to the closed border in Korala as China has not opened the border.
Businessmen are bringing Himalayan Goats and Chyangra from Mustang, instead.
According to them, they brought altogether 250 Chyangras to Kathmandu for Dashain festival.
A healthy Chyangra costs around Rs 40,000 in Mustang, and it is sold at more than Rs 45,000 in other places.
