Kathmandu: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song paid a courtesy call on Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Saran Mahat today.
According to the Finance Minister’s secretariat, during the meeting held at the Finance Ministry, they discussed matters relating to construction of Tokha-Chhahare Tunnel-way and other tunnel ways in hilly areas including in Mustang and Rasuwagadhi.
They also discussed the matter for increasing the number of tourists from China.
On the occasion, Finance Minister Dr. Mahat said Nepal government would invest the assistance provided by China in the infrastructure development sector to enhance the competitive capacity.
Likewise, Chinese Ambassador Song said China could provide nearly 80 billion rupees assistance to Nepal for infrastructure development in the near future.
