Kathmandu, April 30: The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is accepting applications for the Digital GreenTalents Award 2024.
The award supports the international exchange of innovative digital ideas to harness the power of digital age for sustainable development. It offers a great chance to establish a long-lasting cooperation with the German Digital GreenTech community.
How can we create good and healthy living conditions for everyone globally when global climate change is challenging today’s economy and way of life? How can digitalisation contribute to a more sustainable future?
The BMBF promotes the Digital GreenTalents–High Potentials in Sustainable Development–to find solutions to these urgent issues, it has been said.
“We are looking for 20 highly motivated and talented young scientists from all over the world with innovative ideas and a strong focus on digitalisation and sustainable development,” says the BMBF.
The award includes:
* A fully-funded research stay in Germany 2025 (up to three months)
* SpringSchool in 2025 with workshops, excursions and networking
* Becoming part of the Global Digital GreenTalents network
Eligibility:
* Master’s/PhD students, postdocs, and young professionals with no more than three years of professional work experience
* A strong focus on digitalisation, sustainable development and an interdisciplinary approach
* Excellent command of English and above-average grades
