Kathmandu, Aug 6: Katie Donohoe, who has been appointed the new Mission Director for the USAID Nepal, has arrived in Nepal. Donohoe, who previously served as Peace Corps volunteer and Acting Deputy Assistant Administrator for Africa, was welcomed by the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu.
Sworn in by USAID Administrator Samantha Power amidst a programme earlier at the USAID Headquarters in Washington DC, Donohoe has expressed her commitment to partnering with and building relationships within local communities to enhance their livelihoods.
“We are pleased to welcome her to the Mission family and wish her all the best during her time here,” said the U.S. Embassy.
