Chitwan, Aug 24: Transport Management Office Bharatpur, Chitwan has issued driving licneces for a total of 19,074 people in over one year. The office started issuing driver’s license from 17 April, 2023. Similarly, 14,905 people got their driving licence renewed during the period, said administrative officer of the office, Suresh Kumar Chapai.
Driving licences for motorcycles, scooters, cars, jeeps, tempos, e-rickshaws, tractors, minibuses, bus-trucks, excavators and dumpers were issued, he added.
“Mostly, licences for motorcycle, scooter and car and jeep were issued.”
So far, the total 29,011 vehicles have been registered from the office with 13,909 in the last year alone. The office has collected Rs 882 million in revenues in the last fiscal year.
