Kathmandu, Aug 25: Monsoon is currently affecting the country with the low pressure line located to the south of the average place towards the west and to the north of the average place towards the east. Currently, there is partially to generally cloudy across the country due to its effect.
Some parts of Bagmati province and few places of the rest of the province are receiving light rain. It will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and few places of Madhes province.
Tonight, it will be partly cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershowers at some places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and few places in the rest of the province.
As there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in some places of all the provinces, the Division has asked people to take necessary precautions against possible floods, landslides and soil erosion.
