Kathmandu, Aug 29: Monsoon air has its effect in the country with the low pressure line located to the south of average place towards the west and around average place to the east. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, at present, it will be partial to general cloudy across the country. A couple of places in Gandaki and Bagmati provinces are currently receiving light rain.
It will be partly to generally cloudy across the country this afternoon. Light to moderate rain with thundershower is likely in some parts of the country. There is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.
Similarly, it will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly parts of the country tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershower in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places in the remaining provinces.
The Division said there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershower in some parts of the country in the next 24 hours.
As there is a possibility of heavy rains across the country, the Division has asked general people to take necessary precautions against disaster risks.
