Lalitpur, Sept 2: A search for the girl who jumped into the Mahohara river has resumed today. Anjali Sharma, 20, of Musikot in Rukum district had gone missing after jumping into the river from the bridge in Balkumari of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-9 at 7:30 pm on Sunday evening. Shortly, a team of police launched a search, but to no avail.
According to the Armed Police Force, a team of 23 security personnel, including four divers, has been mobilised to search for her.
The police recovered a mobile phone and some documents of the missing girl from the incident site on Monday. Based on this, it was revealed that the girl’s identity was established. The girl was renting an apartment in Balkumari.
