Kathmandu, Sept 4: The influence of monsoon air is continuing across the country with the low pressure line located to around average place of the west and average place of the east. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, at present, it is partly to generally cloudy across the country, but there is sporadic to light rain at one or two places of Koshi, Madhes, and Gandaki provinces.
It will be partly to generally cloudy in the country this afternoon. Some parts of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and some parts of remaining provinces are likely to experience light to moderate rain with thundershowers. There is also a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Madhes, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Similarly, it will be partly to generally cloudy across the country tonight. Some parts of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and some places of the rest of the province are likely to experience light to moderate rain with thundershowers. Heavy rain is also predicted at one or two places in Koshi, Madhes and Gandaki provinces.
In the next 24 hours, some parts of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and some parts of the rest of the provinces are likely to experience light to moderate rain with thundershowers. The Division has requested people to take necessary precautions to avoid the risks of monsoon-induced disasters.
