Kathmandu, Oct 20: The weather today will remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces along with the hilly regions of rest of the provinces and partly cloudy to mainly fair in rest of the country.

Furthermore, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki as well as the hilly regions of rest of the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. This is due to the impact of westerly winds across the country, as well local winds.

Tonight, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces along with the hilly regions of rest of the Provinces and partly cloudy to mainly fair in rest of the country. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to continue at a few places of Koshi Province, Madesh Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province, adds the 6:00 am weather bulletin of the Division.
