Kathmandu– The U.S. Embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission, Jason Meeks, and Peace Corps Nepal recently facilitated a significant gathering with representatives from the Australian Volunteers Program (AVP), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the United Kingdom Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO).

The meeting brought together these key international volunteer agencies to discuss ways to address Nepal’s most pressing development issues.

Participants shared insights into their goals of fostering sustainable development and creating lasting change in communities across Nepal.

By pooling their resources and expertise, these organizations are committed to tackling critical challenges, such as education, health, infrastructure development, and community resilience.

This collaborative effort underscores the global nature of development work and the importance of coordinated international support in achieving meaningful outcomes for local populations.

The discussions highlighted each organization’s unique role in the development landscape and how, by working together, they can amplify their impact and make a significant difference in Nepal’s path to progress.
