Kathmandu, Dec 21: The weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous and hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces today, with chances of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the mountainous region of Koshi province.
The weather will likely be mostly fair in the Tarai region today, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said. Similarly, it will be partly cloudy with chances of scattered to light snowfall at one or two places of the mountainous region in Koshi province tonight.
The Division has suggested taking the necessary precaution as the daily life, tourism, mountaineering, road transport and air transport are likely to be affected due to the occurrence of fog in the Tarai and some places of Kathmandu Valley in the morning.
