Kathmandu, Feb 17: Editor Hari Lamichhane and reporter Bunu Tharu Chaudhari won the first prize in the men’s and women’s category respectively in the race organized on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) here today.
Chhabi Lal Kumal and Sita Bhattarai finished second in the men’s and women’s category respectively in the competition organized by Nepal National Employees Organisation RSS chapter.
A total of 25 employees of RSS participated in the one-kilometer friendly race. RSS General Manager Siddharaj Rai handed over cash prizes to the winners and runners-up.
On the occasion, he expressed the belief that sports would create a a feeling of unity.
