Bagmati, April 4: A person died in a fire occurred in a community forest at Bhimphedi rural municipality-1, Makwanpur district on Thursday.
The victim was Akil Bahadur Pakhrin, 49, according to District Police Office, Makwanpur.
Pakhrin had gone to take care of cowshed near the Bokedaha community forest. While going to the cowshed, he, accidently, fell off a cliff, reaching the community forest that was in fire.
He was found burnt to death in the forest, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shyamu Aryal.
The lifeless body was taken to Hetauda Hospital for a postmortem and investigation into the incident was underway, the police added.
