Kathmandu, August 30 – The 20th EducationUSA University Fair concluded successfully in the capital, bringing together representatives from more than 40 accredited U.S. colleges and universities with Nepali students and parents.
The event provided valuable guidance on admissions, scholarships, standardized testing, and the student visa process. Participants also heard inspiring stories from Nepali alumni who studied in the United States and returned to apply their knowledge and skills in Nepal—highlighting how a U.S. education fosters progress and strengthens people-to-people ties between Nepal and the United States.
EducationUSA, a U.S. Department of State network, offers official and reliable information on studying in the United States. With world-class academics, cutting-edge research opportunities, and global networking, U.S. universities equip Nepali students to pursue successful careers while contributing to Nepal’s growth.
The fair will continue in Pokhara on September 2 at Hotel Barahi, providing another opportunity for students and families to explore higher education prospects in the United States.
