KATHMANDU The hearing on the case related to rape-accused Sandeep Lamichhane, the former captain of the Nepali national cricket team, is scheduled today.
The hearing is likely today if none of the parties chooses to postpone it. A 17-year-old girl had lodged a complaint at the Gaushala Police Station on September 6, 2022, accusing Lamichhane of raping her in a hotel room.
Lamichhane surrendered to the police on October 6. He has been denying the allegations labeled against him.
