KATHMANDU: An audio recording leak allegedly involving Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Dhaka Kumar Shrestha asking for Rs 20 million with the promoter of B&C Hospital, Durga Prasai, has dragged RSP into controversy.
The audio has gone viral.
Kapurbot Media on Sunday leaked the audio recording of the deal between Prasai and Shrestha.
In the leaked audio recording, Shrestha is allegedly asking Rs 20 million from Durga Prasai for the party.
The RSP, meanwhile, suspended Shrestha from the party after the audio leak.
It further said it has initiated an investigation concerning the leaked audio.
