KATHMANDU: Voting to elect Members of the House of Representatives in the by-election in Chitwan-1, Tanahu-1 and Bara-2, has started.
The voting will take place from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm today, according to the Election Commission.
The election body has already appealed to all voters to exercise their voting right in the by-polls taking place today in three constituencies.
The EC said it has adopted special measures to hold the election in a free and fair manner.
The EC has also directed all concerned agencies to take action against those involved in foiling voting-related processes as per the law and conduct elections without any obstruction.
It also said that the movement and vehicular operation in the concerned district today would be as designated by the local administration.
