DARCHULA: A youth died on the spot while five others were seriously injured in a road accident that happened last night at Timla of Api Himal Rural Municipality-5 in Darchula.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Singh Dhami, 18, of Api Himal Rural Municipality-6, Rural Municipality.
The jeep (Ma 1 Jha 233) fell around 200 meters down the road on its way to Makarigad of Api Himal from Latinath of Marma Rural Municipality.
Nine persons were traveling in the jeep.
Three persons were rescued by police personnel and local residents.
Five others are receiving treatment at Latinath Health Post.
