KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the monsoon extended by approximately two weeks in the country.
Even though the monsoon was predicted to remain until October 2, it has been prolonged for one week as the monsoon low-pressure system from the mid-western Bay of Bengal and the surroundings made an impact in Nepal.
Monsoon started in Nepal on June 5 and will exit after one week, according to the Division.
The weather will be clear from Tuesday.
