Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal met with US Senator Chris Van Hollen on Friday to discuss matters of mutual interest and collaboration.
Senator Hollen, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, is in Kathmandu on an official visit.
The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, aimed to strengthen political and professional relations between the US and Nepal. Senator Hollen’s visit includes engagements with government officials, youth leaders, lawmakers, and the business community.
Similarly, Senator Hollen will hold discussions with relevant agencies regarding US cooperation in Nepal’s health and infrastructure sectors, as highlighted by the US Embassy in Kathmandu.
