Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has held consultations with experts and stakeholders before his visit to the People’s Republic of China.
He held discussions with the top leaders of major political parties, former prime ministers, and former foreign affairs ministers on Sunday. He also met with foreign affairs experts and former ambassadors on Sunday itself.
PM Dahal is scheduled to leave for the United States of America on September 16 to participate in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), and then proceed to China from the USA after participating in the UNGA.
The Prime Minister has been consulting with experts and politicians to forge a consensus and make a common understanding on different agendas to be discussed during his China visit. He has stressed that his China visit would be fruitful and that necessary homework was underway.
He has clarified that the government would maintain balanced relations with the neighbours countries as well as the international community and that Nepal was committed to the Non-Aligned Foreign Policy.
