KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed US Ambassador to Nepal, Dean Thompson, arrived in Nepal on Thursday evening.
Thompson will submit his credentials to President Bidya Devi Bhandari in a couple of days, according to the US Embassy of Nepal.
Thompson arrived here after US Ambassador Randy Berry returned to the United States after completing his four-year term in Nepal.
Ambassador Berry will now serve as the US Ambassador to Namibia.
