Kathmandu, Dec 14: The weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas, with generally clear in the rest of the country today. This is due to the effect of the westerly winds, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
Even though the weather remains foggy there is no possibility of rain today. According to the department, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi region and partly cloudy to generally clear in the rest of the region.
On Friday, the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country, including Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. On Saturday afternoon, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province will be partly cloudy and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the region. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountain areas of Karnali Province.
Meanwhile, the cold is increasing all over the country and the Division has requested everyone to take necessary precautions to avoid the effects of cold.
