Kathmandu, Dec 29: A three-member team has been formed to investigate the Balkumari incident. The committee led by Deputy Inspector General of Police Lalmani Acharya Assistant Chief District Officer, Lalitpur Amardip Sunuwar and Deputy Director of the National Investigation Department Basu Sigdel as members.
Two men were killed and over a dozen injured in a clash between agitating youths and police today in Balkumari, Lalitpur. The clash erupted when the police tried to take the tense situation under control after the agitating youths torched the car (Ba 2 Jha 5861) used minister Jwala today in Balkumari, Lalitpur as part of their protest over the issue of the EPS language test. The police have held over 50 protestors in connection with the incident.
