Kathmandu, Jan 2: Food also plays an important role in brain development. There are certain foods that can be used regularly to improve memory.

— Lycopene in tomato guards against free radicals in the body and prevents the degeneration of brain cells. In addition to that, the vegetable contains elements such as protein, vitamins, and various dietary salts.

— Yogurt contains amino acids which help to reduce mental stress and increase memory.

— Regular consumption of nutmeg helps in keeping the brain healthy and improves memory.

— Tulsi leaves are very beneficial for health. Eating at least three Tulsi leaves a day benefits people with memory loss.

— Consuming walnuts daily improves memory. It contains essential elements like omega three fatty acids, protein, fiber, and antioxidants.

— Regular consumption of strawberries prevents the degeneration of brain cells.
