Japan: For many Nepali people, Japan may provide a good opportunity for study, work, or travel. However, the reality can be quite different. So one should focus on some certain things which would make their stay easier in Japan.

Here I have presented some tips for those of you who are thinking of visiting Japan or are about to fly to Japan.

– First of all, let’s understand well about the college, place and company you are going to.

– Let’s have a good understanding of Japanese culture, lifestyle and rules.

– Let’s not apply for the visa only depending friends and consultants. Do your own research.

– Only Japanese language is used in Japan. So let’s learn the Japanese language well. If you have good language command, you can speak, write, and you will never have trouble in Japan. Staying abroad involves suffering, pain and loneliness. Despite these constraints, it will be easier for you if you have a good command over the language of the destination country.

– If you have made up your mind of going abroad, you should always keep in mind one thing, that is, you will fight no matter what crisis and obstacle comes your way. It is important to have a mindset that you will waste your time abroad.

– It is very important to give your family real information about where you are going, what is the situation there, what are the rules, laws, income and expenses. Especially those who visit Japan on student visas, it is very important to tell truth to their families.

It may be because children of the poor take debt to reach Japan. Our families have much hopes from us. You think that you will earn and send to the families to run the household chores and pay off the debt.

According to the Japanese rules, those who reach Japan on student visas can work 28 hours a week when studies are on, and 40 hours a week during long vacations such as summer vacation, winter vacation, and golden week. However, the money earned as per these rules can only cover food, accommodation and school fees. Therefore, it is necessary to inform your family about such things in a timely manner.

– We have heard the news that many people have suffered in Japan. It is mainly due to the lack of preparation, dependence on others, and ignorance of the language. No one else is to blame but oneself.

– Focusing on work more than studying, working too much beyond the Japanese rules, not wanting to understand the Japanese culture and lifestyle, but complaining that other people have defrauded you, consultancies have not cooperated with you. This kind of tendency should be abandoned.

– You don’t have to blame others if you are in the habit of understanding everything in time. We suffer a lot throughout our lives just by blaming others. Therefore, before blaming others, you should prepare yourself first. Let’s not depend on others and try to stand on our own feet. Before visiting Japan, learn the language well.

– It is essential for how many consultants are there in Nepal to give real information about Japan before sending students. Most of the students blame the consultancy itself. Things may turn bad even when attempting to do good things. Students entirely rely on the consultancy before flying to Japan. They tend to stay away from doing things by themselves. And it is not fair to balm the consultancy.

– There is a difference between measuring happiness of people in Japan based on photos they post on social media like Facebook or TikTok. However, the reality may be entirely different. Therefore, to avoid trouble and difficulties, one should prepare well, and learn the ‘N4 Level’ language before flying to Japan. Suffering means not learning the Japanese language. We need to think about this.
