Kathmandu, March 31: In honour of Women’s History Month, the U.S. Embassy has hosted an outreach event for ‘Women in Science & Technology’.
Over 200 participants representing diverse sectors like computer science, engineering, and more participated in the event, it has been said.
On the occasion, two representatives from the U.S. Embassy – Jeeta Gurung, an architect, and Urika Shakya, an IT expert – shared their stories and experiences with the audience.
The Embassy has been conducting many such outreach programs throughout Nepal with the aim of diversifying our workforce so that it truly represents the diversity of Nepali society.
